I got off at Shenyang and went to the September 18th History Museum first. If you want to know about a city, museums are the easiest place to start. After coming out of the September 18th History Museum, I visited the exhibition hall of the site of the Allied POW camp in World War II. It is very proud that a city can have two history museums. However, there are more than two in Shenyang. Let's visit the rest later.

After visiting two museums, I was hungry, so I went to the old Jiaozi Museum in the city center. Going to Shenyang without eating steamed dumplings with fried stuffing is tantamount to coming for nothing. I ordered a cage of traditional steamed dumplings, which is a famous traditional product. Before mixing the stuffing, I fried the meat until it was half-cooked.

Besides steamed dumplings, I also ordered a plate of cold Majiagou celery. This celery is yellow with green, shredded by hand, and has a unique flavor, which is hard to compare with stupid celery on the market. Majiagou celery originated in pingdu city, Shandong Province in the Ming Dynasty. The hollow yellow leaves of celery in other places are diseases, but the hollow yellow leaves of Majiagou celery are its unique food characteristics. Shandong people brought this celery to Liaodong, so Majiagou celery in Shenyang has an up-and-down aroma and taste because of the climate. It is said that the Qing emperor returned to Shengjing (Shenyang) to worship his ancestors, and local officials secretly agreed that the emperor should never know that this kind of food was available there. Perhaps General Shengjing was frightened by the annual tribute, because celery can't be supplied in all seasons.

The next day, I visited two companies first, because there were still important places to visit in the afternoon. Lunch should be simple, a jar of meat and a bowl of rice. Jar meat is a famous winter food in northern China. The core technology is "sealing the jar", that is, after the jar is filled with pork belly and seasoning, the jar mouth is sealed with wet mulberry paper. The thickness of the paper should not only prevent the aroma from overflowing, but also allow the meat in the jar to breathe normally. Then, put the jar on the residual fire at night and simmer all night. By the time the altar was opened, it was snowing outside the window, a glass of wine was close at hand, and people of all ages gathered under the kang. This is probably the traditional happy life in Shenyang. Now that the material is so rich, you don't have to wait until winter to eat jar meat and you can enjoy delicious food at any time.

In the afternoon, I visited the China Industrial Museum, which was so shocking and touching. Having such a museum is enough to make Shenyang one of the first-class museum cities in China. Before I left Shenyang, I visited the Palace Museum in Shenyang. This is my second visit to Shenyang Forbidden City, mainly because I want to see the antlers chair and Qingning Palace again. There were seven antlers chairs in the Qing Dynasty. This antlers chair in the Imperial Palace in Shenyang during the period of Huang Taiji was relatively simple, with obvious characteristics of "entrepreneur".

I want to see Ning Hong again because of the novelist's paranoia. It is said that in this palace, famous philosophers and Hailanzhu, as well as the famous Zhuang Fei, cooked meat for sacrifice, which is the traditional food "white meat" in the three northeastern provinces today.
