What is the custom of Miao Sisters' Day?

These days, according to the traditional custom of Hainan Miao family, we should eat sister meals. Sister rice is made by girls picking flowers and leaves of wild plants on the mountain, dyeing them colorful with glutinous rice and steaming them. After eating their sister's meal, the girls and boys dressed in holiday costumes and national costumes happily came to the Doushui River to participate in entertainment and sports activities: singing folk songs, playing lusheng, drumming on the beach, dancing lusheng, boating and bullfighting.
