Why is the Bottle Mountain in Jiashan known as one of the "Eight Scenes of Weitang" by fellow villagers?

Jiashan, another wine town in Zhejiang Province, also has a story related to wine: according to legend, during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Wu Zixu, a general of the State of Wu, was stationed in the area of Jiashan, and established a defense line of several dozens of miles from the south to the north, in preparation for a great war with the State of Yue.

Jiashan, between Wu and Yue, is famous as a land of fish and rice, and wine is a local specialty. Every time they went on an expedition or triumphed on the front line, the generals liked to drink a lot, and over time, the bottles of peach juice discarded outside the camp were piled up in a mountainous area, making it a sight to behold. Jiashan County, the south gate of the bottle mountain is one of the most famous, and was listed as one of the "eight scenic spots in Weitang" by the people.
