How to calculate the freight forwarding fee?
If it is by sea, generally speaking, the freight forwarder will charge all fees.
1. Fees charged for the first generation:
Sea freight (the mode of transportation is FOB, that is, pay on arrival; The mode of transportation is CIF (that is, prepaid), THC fee, booking fee, document fee, telex release fee (if your bill of lading needs telex release), EDI fee, box bill fee, and bill exchange fee (different shipping companies: some after the bill is cut off, some after leaving the ship, there will be a bill exchange fee if the data on the bill of lading is to be modified).
2. Fees charged by non-first-class freight forwarders: operating expenses.
3. Fees charged by the port area: port information security fees.
4. Fees charged by towing company: towing fee.
5. Charges charged by the warehouse: interior loading fee, cabinet hanging fee and cabinet lifting fee (if the warehouse can't pick up the cabinet at the designated place, it needs to go to other yards to pick up the cabinet).
6. Fees charged by the customs broker: customs declaration fee, commodity inspection fee (if commodities need commodity inspection).
You can ask the prices of several freight forwarders, which can be cheaper every month for a long time. (There is little difference in freight forwarding costs now)
