It can be played in long or short lengths, can be seated, and is very light and flexible.

Suona players also compiled numerous suona tunes based on their own playing practice.

It is generally divided into happy and sad tunes. The happy tune is light, lively and joyful; the sad tune is deep, low-pitched and tear-jerking.

Even though it is a small suona, there is a lot to be said for playing it, and different tunes must be played for different scenes.

For example, there are warm and cheerful tunes such as "The General Dismounts His Horse" and "Hundred Phoenixes Rising to the Sun" for general blowing; "Ten Hall Flowers" and "Yangzhou Tune" are included for seated playing; while "In-laws Blowing" and "Turtle Dove Tune" are included for counter-playing.

Such delicate and melodious Han folk tunes.

However, although there are many suona tunes, you must not make any mistakes when playing, otherwise your suona will be ruined and no one will ask you to play it again in your life.

Suonas are generally divided into wooden tubes, copper tubes, aluminum tubes and tin tubes. Wooden tubes are soft, copper tubes are bright, and tin tubes and aluminum tubes are the most widely used.

Yudu Suona is divided into four types: large, medium and small "Lazi". The large Suona is rough and elegant and is generally used in big events; while the slender "Lazi" (commonly known as "Diao Lazi" among the people in Yudu)

The pitch is high and sharp, and it is laborious to play, so it is only used for embellishment and accompaniment.

Naturally, the most commonly used suonas are medium and small suonas.

The small suona is cheerful, subtle, and elegant, like a loving girl; the middle suona is high-pitched, passionate, and penetrating, just like a young and vigorous young man.

Therefore, these two types of suona are the most expressive and widely used. Yudu suona not only has diverse varieties and complex tunes, but is also good at absorbing the rich artistic nutrients of various musical instruments, so as to continuously improve and improve them.

For example, some tunes add erhu, flute or gongs and drums, so that the playing of Yudu suona becomes rich and colorful.
