What are the interesting places in Jinjiang?

1. Anping Bridge

Commonly known as Wuliqiao, it is located at No.3 Xing 'an Road, Anhai Town, Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, on the bay at the junction of Anhai and Nan 'an Shuitou. It was built in Shaoxing, Song Dynasty for eight years (1 138) and completed thirteen years later.

It is the longest stone bridge in China. The whole bridge is 2255 meters long and 3-3.8 meters wide, with 36/kloc-0 piers. There are five pavilions on the bridge, including Shui Xin Pavilion, Louting Pavilion, Zhongting Pavilion, Rain Pavilion and Gongting Pavilion. At the eastern end of the bridge, there is a white tower, 22 meters high, with five hexagonal hollow brick towers, painted with white ash. The tall tower and the long bridge set each other off.

"Anping Bridge" spans the bay between Nan 'an County and Jinjiang County, the hometown of Zheng Zhilong (Zheng Chenggong's father), and the other end of the bridge is Anhai Town. Anhai was called "Anping Road" in ancient times, hence the name "Anping Bridge". It was renamed Shijing Town in the Song Dynasty and Anhai Town in the Ming Dynasty. Later, after Zheng Zhilong opened Anhai, it was renamed Anping.
