Literature, History and Philosophy Reading Hall, listening to Mr. Li Qing share "Dream of the Red Chamber - the sadness and joy of the little people".

This afternoon, I went to the "Wen Shi Zhe" reading hall in the Lixing Wenbo Center to listen to a book sharing session of Mr. Li Qing's "Dream of Red Mansions - The Sorrows and Joys of the Little People".

Mr. Li Qing is a member of Shandong Province Prose Society and Writers' Association. The Dream of Red Mansions - The Sorrows and Joys of the Little People" is his new book. In fact, the original intention of writing this book is originated from Mr. Li Qing's filial piety.

Mr. Li Qing's mother passed away a long time ago, and although his father was well-fed and clothed, his life alone was inevitably lonely and isolated.

In order to relieve the old man's mental anguish, knowing that the old man loved to watch Peking Opera, Mr. Li Qing had written a collection of opera reviews, "Peking Opera and Life", to guide his father to watch Peking Opera. This book "Dream of the Red Chamber - the sorrows and joys of the little people" is also made to guide his father to read "Dream of the Red Chamber", and its earnest father-son love is honorable and praiseworthy.

It is well known that Dream of Red Mansions is the greatest classical novel in China, one of the Four Great Masterpieces, and Chairman Mao once regarded it as a classic among the classics representing Chinese civilization.

The content of the book covers a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of philosophy, culture and art. Such as architecture, medicine, literature, music, painting, calligraphy, clothing, food and so on, the world called it "encyclopedic" cultural novel, which is not too much.

Mr. Li Qing, standing on the position of promoting "truth, goodness and beauty" and flogging "falsehood, ugliness and evil", expressed his own unique insights. She analyzed the character of the minor characters in the book and the social background of their formation.

For example, Zhen Shiyin's father-in-law, Feng Su, is a snob who is only interested in profit, and his own daughter was unfortunately affected by a sudden change of life, and her family fell into ruin, so as a father, he not only didn't lend a helping hand, but also disliked him as a difficult person, and in his eyes, profit is more important than anything else, and benevolence, affection, and ethics can't stand up to the word "profit". "The first time I've seen this, I've seen it in my own eyes.

Cao Xueqin portrayed this character, in fact, is also a microcosm of the social climate at that time. Li-Yan-Zhai commented that "Feng Su" is "customs", it can be said that Cao Xue-Qin is "Feng Su" satirize the social culture of profit-oriented, but also indirectly expresses Cao Xue-Qin's dissatisfaction and disappointment with the society he was in.

Subscribing to the rich and powerful, oppressing the weak, forgetting the righteousness of profit, and being unkind to the rich, such people exist in any era, just how many of them are there. Li Qing teacher said, civilized society today, there are still their shadows, and even can say, each of us have hidden in the bottom of the heart of the "Feng Su" shrinking version, only the heart of the moral justice does not allow the expansion of this villain. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I think it's a good idea for us to be aware of what we're doing.

After listening to Ms. Li Qing's eloquent sharing, I have a new understanding of Dream of the Red Chamber. The first time I read this book when I was a teenager, I was only concerned about the storyline, and I didn't understand a lot of the poems in the book, so I didn't know the reasoning behind them.

The second time was ten years ago, re-reading has realized the author's full of heartache, have time to read the third time, I do not know whether there will be the same height of thought as Mr. Li Qing, from the perspective of human nature, the social level to look at the inevitable reason behind the character.

At the end of the sharing session, Mr. Li Qing gave each of us a signed copy of his new book, and I think that, combined with Mr. Li's book "Dream of the Red Mansion--The Sorrows and Joys of the Little People", we will have a more penetrating insight into "Dream of the Red Mansion". Thank you, Mr. Li Qing, and also thank you, Mr. Li Jian, for your wonderful hosting today.

Into the essence, to promote traditional culture, feel the beauty of literature. This afternoon's sharing session was not a waste of time.
