"Fishing Boat Sings the Evening" is a guzheng piece, the title is taken from the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Bo's "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion", "Fishing Boat Sings the Evening, Sounding Poor Peng Li's Shore". The piece depicts a moving picture of fishermen singing in the evening sunlight in the water town of Jiangnan until the moonlight is like water and all the houses are lit up. Regarding the origin of the piece, there are many different opinions and there is no definite conclusion, one of which is that it was adapted by Lou Shuhua, a guzheng player in the mid-30s, according to the ancient song "Going Back" of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and another is that it was adapted by Jin Zhuo Nan, a guzheng player in Shandong Province, who adapted his hometown's traditional folk song "Double Board" in the early years.
