Beijing opera is divided into several categories.

The types of Beijing opera can be basically divided into: traditional opera, modern opera, new historical drama and so on.

There are four types of Beijing opera, namely, life, Dan, purity and ugliness, as follows:

1, the original line includes:

Laosheng (middle-aged and old men on the stage of Beijing Opera), (young men on the stage of Beijing Opera), Wusheng (heroes of military commanders on the stage of Beijing Opera), Hongsheng (red-faced characters on the stage of Beijing Opera) and Doll Sheng (children on the stage of Beijing Opera).

2. Danxing includes:

Tsing Yi (the demure female image of Zhuang on the stage of Beijing Opera), Hua Dan (the charming and pretty young woman on the stage of Beijing Opera), Beijing Opera Blues, Wu Dan (the ancient woman with superb martial arts on the stage of Beijing Opera), Lao Dan (the elderly woman on the stage of Beijing Opera) and Cai Dan (the funny female role in Beijing Opera).

3. The network cable is a plane, including:

Bronze hammer painting faces (mainly singers), shelf painting faces (mainly work), Jason Wu (mainly martial arts) and so on.

4. Shame includes:

Wen Chou and Wu Chou.

Beijing opera genre:

1. The schools of life mainly include: Yu Pai Laosheng (representative), Yan Pai Laosheng (representative), Gao Pai Laosheng (representative), Ma Pai Laosheng (representative), Tan Pai Laosheng (representative), Yang Pai Laosheng (representative) and Xi Pai Laosheng (representative of Xi Xiaobo).
