Lassi is what you eat or drink!
Lassi is a traditional Indian drink made by mixing yogurt with water, salt, and spices until frothy, and is enjoyed cold as a hot weathered refreshment. Traditional lassi is salty and usually flavored with ground roasted cumin and chili peppers. Sweet lassi is a recent invention, flavored with sugar, rosewater and/or lemon, mango, strawberry or other fruit juices.
Lassi has also become quite popular in Turkey during the hot summer months, where it is typically curbed to just water, salt, yogurt and lemon.
