Personal Information

Zhu Yaoting, male, a member of the C*** Party, was born in December 1944. He graduated from the Department of History, Peking University, majoring in Chinese History in July 1969, and stayed on as a teacher. In December 1979, he was transferred to Peking University. 1993, he was promoted to professor, and in 1996, he was honored as an expert of the State Council enjoying special government subsidies. He has served as the head of the History Department and the head of the Academic Affairs Office of the College of Applied Arts and Sciences, a member of the Academic Committee of Beijing Union University, a member of the History Expert Group of the Beijing Municipal Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning, and an executive director of the China Talent Research Association. He is now the leader of the specialized history discipline in the College of Applied Arts and Sciences of Beijing Union University, and the director of the Beijing Institute of Cultural History of Beijing Union University. Chang Peking University, Department of History, majoring in Chinese history, is now Professor of the Department of History, College of Applied Arts and Sciences, Beijing Union University, enjoying the special government subsidies experts.

Major works

Period is devoted to the history of the Yuan, Beijing cultural history. Has published a variety of books more than 30, published more than 40 papers. In 1999, "The Talent Concept of Zhu Zi and Modern Talent Science" (co-authored with Prof. Li Yuexiu), won the Third Prize of Excellent Scientific Monograph of the Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China; Historical Novel Genghis Khan was awarded the National Excellent Bestseller Prize in 2001, and the First Prize of Outstanding Books of Beijing Municipality in 2002; in 2005, "Tourism of Chinese Cultural Relics and Historical Monuments" was awarded as the Beijing Municipal Excellence Teaching Material, and the TV drama Genghis Khan was awarded with Feitian Prize.
