The difference between wireless AP and wireless routing;

For extended AP, it can be interconnected in short distance; If the transmission distance is long, wireless bridges and special antennas are needed to help.

From the appearance, the two are basically similar, which is really difficult to distinguish. However, I believe that careful users have seen the difference between the two. By the way, their interfaces are different.

A simple wireless AP usually has a wired RJ45 network port, a power interface, a configuration port (USB port or configured through a WEB interface), and few indicator lights. There are four wired network ports for wireless routing. Except one WAN port for connecting the network equipment at the higher level, four LAN ports can be wired to connect the computers in the intranet, and there are naturally many indicator lights.
