How to make candied haws?

Today, I will share with you the authentic method of sugar-coated haws. After learning, I don't have to go out to buy candied haws anymore. I can do it myself at home. Sweet and sour, our children clamor for it every season. Let's take a look at the specific practices!

Required ingredients

Appropriate amount of fresh hawthorn, salt, bamboo sticks, rock sugar and white sesame seeds.

Practice steps

1, prepare some fresh hawthorn, and then go to the stalk of hawthorn. Prepare a pot of warm water, add a spoonful of salt, stir well, soak the hawthorn in it for about 10 minute to remove the pesticide residue on the hawthorn, wash it again after soaking, and control the water for later use.

2. Then put the hawthorn on with bamboo sticks prepared in advance. You can wear some fruits you like. I have some cut bananas here. Of course, you can use tools to remove the hawthorn core, so that it will taste better after being made into Sugar-Coated Berry.

3. Next, boil sugar, pour a bowl of rock sugar into the pot, and then pour a bowl of water. The amount of water exceeds one centimeter of rock sugar. Open a big fire to melt rock sugar. After the water in the pot is boiled, turn the heat down. During this period, there is no need to stir, and the color gradually changes from white to yellow. Continue cooking with minimal fire.

4. The bubbles in the pot will become thicker and thicker. When the color turns golden, turn off the fire, add white sesame seeds and stir well.

5. Dip the pot a little, and you can dip the candied haws. After dipping, put it on a container that has been oiled in advance. Let it cool for 2 to 3 minutes and you can eat it. So the delicious candied haws are ready.
