What stage are conventional fuel vehicles in

Conventional fuel vehicles are in a relatively mature stage.

The main source of carbon emissions in the era of comprehensive new energyization is the transition from the use stage to the production stage. For traditional fuel vehicles, the carbon emissions of the whole life cycle mainly come from the use stage, in which the carbon emissions of the use stage account for about 80% of the total of its life cycle, while the carbon emissions of pure electric vehicles mainly come from the production stage.

According to the relevant data, it is expected that by 2025 the emissions from the material production stage of electric vehicles will account for 45% of the total emissions of the whole life cycle of the vehicle, and by 2040 the carbon emissions from the material production stage will account for about 85%.

So it can be seen that accelerating the low-carbon transformation of the industrial chain and supply chain has become the key to carbon neutrality in the era of new energy vehicles, especially the material production of automobiles and the production process of power batteries.

Only by combining the upstream and downstream industrial chain and reducing the carbon emissions of the production process in the supply chain link, can we truly realize green development. New energy vehicles include four major types of hybrid electric vehicles, pure electric vehicles (including solar cars, fuel cell electric vehicles, other new energy vehicles, etc.).
