The moral of phoenix lotus

This pattern symbolizes wealth.

Phoenix in Yuan Dynasty has a comb on its head and no hair on its neck. Where phoenix patterns appear, most of them are set off by leafy lotus patterns, which means wealth and continuity. A group of phoenix patterns are used to form a complete pattern, which is even more gorgeous and luxurious.

The flat pot with phoenix head collected in the Capital Museum is very rare, with phoenix head as the shape, phoenix tail as the handle, and peony pattern with branches at the lower part.
