However, the cost of the ordinary circuit itself needs to be controlled, and the resistor with lower precision can be fully competent. It is not necessary to choose expensive components, which is obviously not cost-effective.

Chip resistors are expensive and are suitable for those circuit boards with insufficient available space or which cannot be inserted. Moreover, the precision of the metal film resistor itself can be made very high, and its surface is marked with the precision grade. There are carbon film resistors with lower accuracy, but in the same volume, its resistance can be made very large, which is more suitable for making potentiometers. The precision of wire wound resistance itself is not high.
