The distance a car can travel on a full tank of gas depends on a number of factors, including the car's displacement, model, fuel tank capacity and driving conditions. Generally speaking, small cars have a fuel tank capacity of between 35 and 45 liters, while medium-sized cars have a fuel tank capacity of around 55 to 75 liters. With a full tank of gas, these models can usually travel about 500 kilometers. However, in the case of vehicles with a larger displacement, such as the 2.0-liter to 2.4-liter models, the distance that can be traveled on a full tank of fuel is much longer, ranging from about 600 to 700 kilometers. For smaller displacement 1.6-liter to 1.8-liter models, a full tank of fuel may only be able to travel 300 to 400 kilometers when driving in the city, but may travel more than 600 to 700 kilometers when driving in the suburbs or on the highway.
