How many ethnic minorities are there in Hunan?

Hunan is a multi-ethnic province, with more than 50 ethnic minorities such as Han, Tujia, Miao, Dong, Yao, Bai, Hui, Zhuang and Uygur.

Hunan Province, referred to as "Xiang" for short, is the provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), with Changsha as the capital, Jiangxi in the east, Chongqing and Guizhou in the west, Guangdong and Guangxi in the south and Hubei in the north, with a total area of 2 1. 1.8 million square kilometers.
