Hainan Qiongju Theatre Performance

The theater is known as "the highest art palace of Qiong Opera". Since the theater built its own courtyard, it has excavated and sorted out 2 10 traditional plays such as Searching the Courtyard, Zhang Wenxiu, Poems on Red Leaves and Selling Rouge, and adapted and transplanted costume dramas such as butterfly lovers, Qin Xianglian, Spring Grass Flying to the Moon, Queen China and The Story of Two Butterflies. Creation and adaptation of 2 16 modern plays such as Red women soldiers, Jin Juhua, Hongshuwan and Chaoyanggou; There are 17 newly-edited historical dramas and costume dramas in Hainan, such as The Rejuvenation of Hai Rui, Mei Qing Ji, Double Star Club and Su Dongpo. Among them, the traditional drama "Poetry on Red Leaves" 1962 was revised and polished by Mr. Tian Han, and shot and distributed all over the country and Southeast Asia.

The newly edited historical drama "The Story of Childhood" participated in the performance of the 2nd China Arts Festival. After the TV series "Dongpo Persuades Learning" was broadcast, it won the third prize of 1997 China TV drama exhibition and broadcast, the organization award and the national TV trapeze award. The theatre has performed in Beijing for four times, and staged such plays as Zhang Wenxiu, Golden Hairpin Dog, Selling Rouge, Red women soldiers Evergreen, Poems on Red Leaves, Childhood Story, etc. He was cordially received by state leaders and warmly praised by celebrities in the literary and art circles such as Zhou Yang, Tian Han, Zhang Geng and A Jia. The theater has visited Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia successively, and presented nearly 50 plays for overseas Chinese, such as Searching for the Academy, The Crow Playing the Phoenix, The Flower Princess, The Story of Two Butterflies and The Story of Childhood, which has made positive contributions to spreading Hainan dialect, contacting overseas Chinese's nostalgia and promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
