Shangrao culture

Shangrao residents are rich in languages and fluent in Chinese. Shangrao City has gathered many dialects.

Shangrao's local specialties belong to Gancai and Raobang cuisine. Raobang cuisine originated in Guzhou, centered on Guzhou, and is made of delicious food from Shangrao, Wuyuan, Guangfeng, Qianshan and Yushan counties. Raobang cuisine "likes fresh and fragrant, but tastes partial", which is divided into Xinzhou, Yanshan, Guangfeng, Yiyang, Yugan, Poyang and other schools. Raobang cuisine is made of fresh materials, exquisite knife work and meticulous production. With the traditional cooking skills of "burning, stewing, stewing, steaming and frying", it is suitable for eating, or refreshing, or crisp and spicy.

Typical restaurants in Shangrao include Shangrao restaurant with Jiangxi local flavor, Beijing-Tianjin-Jiangsu-Zhejiang restaurant, and Wuyuan restaurant with Huizhou style.
