What is High Density Interconnect (HDI)?

High Density Interconnect (HDI) refers to the aperture diameter of 6 mil or less, the ring diameter of the aperture ring (Hole Pad) in the 0.25mm or less of the micro-conductor holes (Microvia), contact density of 130 points / square time or more, the wiring density of 117 points / square time or more, and its line width spacing of 3mil / 3 mil or less of the printed circuit board.
