It is the second largest ethnic cultural area in the northeast of China. The northern fishing and hunting cultural area is located between the Han-Manchu farming cultural area and the Mongolian grassland nomadic cultural area, extending from south to north along Nenjiang River and Daxinganling Mountains. The regional culture and area of Northeast China are the common wealth of all ethnic groups in Northeast China, and we have inherited the culture and history of Northeast China.

On the cultural level, diverse Kanto culture has been formed, and the aborigines in Northeast China have left rich and colorful traditional cultural accumulation. The influx of immigrants brought Jiaodong culture, Yudong culture, Shanxi merchants culture, Jiangsu and Zhejiang culture, Hubei and Hunan culture and western culture, which blended with each other, laid the pluralistic foundation of the new Kanto culture and formed the unique personality characteristics of today's Northeast people-brave, reckless, open and conservative.

Northeast immigrant culture is mainly formed by three kinds of people. The first is refugees, the second is garrison, and the third is immigrants.
