East Timor custom
East Timorese residents are used to building their homes on mountains, which are high, cool and clean, and can avoid floods and prevent enemies. Different tribes occupy different hills, with inconvenient transportation and little contact with each other, so the language is unreasonable. East Timor is a small country, but there are many dialects. Living in the mountains, after all, life is inconvenient. Now some people begin to change their ideas, try their best to save money and build houses at the foot of the mountain. In daily life, women chop wood, carry water, farm and take care of children, while men pick coconuts from trees with machetes on their waists or go fishing in the sea.
Vegetables, fruits, etc. What is sold in the East Timor market is sold by the pile, and there is no scale. Only a few meat sellers use scales, and they only weigh them roughly. There is no room for bargaining between buying and selling.
Most East Timorese believe in Catholicism and go to church on weekends.
