How to make distillers grains
1. Wash the round glutinous rice, soak it in clear water for one night, then drain the water, steam it in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes, and let it cool.
2. After cooling, stir the glutinous rice evenly with chopsticks.
3. Stir about 4g sweet distiller's yeast with 250g pure water, stir with chopsticks continuously, and pour the liquid into the cold glutinous rice.
4. After stirring evenly, flatten the glutinous rice, dig a small hole in the middle, and sprinkle some dry koji around the small hole.
5. Then seal the bowl with plastic wrap, cover it and let it stand.
6. Due to the high temperature, the distiller's grains were successfully fermented in one and a half days, with more moisture, sweet and delicious. If the temperature is low, the fermentation time is longer.
