The Four Major Stances of Shaolin Fist
Shaolin Fist is good at both maneuvering and kicking; it focuses on practicing both strength and power. It requires the following skills: walking swiftly like the wind, standing firmly like a nail, advancing like a sharp arrow through leather, and retreating with firmness and steadiness. The entire body requirements: eye bright, hand fast, abdominal solid, chest Shu, shoulder sinking, elbow drop; hair power to fierce, foot to stirrups, in and out of the flash flexible and natural, such as a tiger, like a dragon, majestic, unpredictable.
1. Fingers in the sky
①Preparatory posture: the body is naturally upright, feet apart and shoulder level, arms naturally hanging down on the outside of the thighs. Eyes forward, fingers into the sword.
② Inhalation: two arms slowly stretched out in front; two palms upward, five fingers facing forward, naturally open. Tongue against the upper dawn, the abdomen inward, in order to guide the gas, since the perineum pressure to the dantian, nose inhalation into the dantian, when the arm is raised and shoulder level, the dantian held 20 seconds, and then lead the gas from the dantian directly to the danzhong point, while the two arms rotated, elbow bending, the two fingertips relative to each other, the palm is still upward, into the Huituo baby-like, upward gas, guarded in the danzhong point, the pinky finger and the chest is about 3 inches apart.
③ Exhale: the internal qi sinks from the danzhong point to the dantian, the huiyin, the coccyx, rises backward to the two sides of the life gate, will be in the large vertebrae, and then to the two sides of the separation to the shoulder center. Shoulder condyles, down through Quchi, Waiguan, Waolao Gong, and finally to the fingertips. At the same time? Turn over your palms, raise both arms slowly upward, palms upward, fingertips still opposite, and look up as if your fingers are holding the blue sky. (Note: the body to remain upright, not forward and backward, the speed of breathing, the speed of internal qi running and the speed of the arm upward should be basically the same.)
④Withdrawal: While holding the sky in your hands, take another breath through your nose. Hold the breath for about 10 seconds, exhale slowly through the mouth, while the arms sink to the danzhong point height, and then separate naturally hanging to the sides. Look straight ahead, head straight. The gas sinks into the dantian, and the intention is to guard the dantian.
This work needs to be practiced 5-10 times each time.
2. Force through the earth
① Preparatory form as before.
② inhalation: the head is straight, chest and back, tongue against the palate, abdomen slightly inward. Internal qi from the perineum to the dantian, inhale through the nose, at this time the left foot step forward, into the left bow right arrow step. Internal qi from the dantian lead to the danzhong point, palm relative to the distance of about half a foot wide, fingers into a 45-degree angle to the top, hold your breath for 20 seconds.
③ Exhale: internal qi from the danzhong point down to the dantian, through the perineum, tail Yan. To the two sides of the life gate, upward will be in the large vertebrae, separated to the shoulder well, shoulder condyles, quchi, outside the Guan, outside the Laogong and other points, and finally reached the fingertips. Left fingers upward toward the sky to set up a palm, palm from the right upper arm about 2 inches, guarding the chest, Dan was always out of the state; the right arm forward, hand wiped violently to the ground in front of the insertion of strikes, the idea is to penetrate the depths of the ground, hold your breath for 10 seconds, the upper body to maintain a straight. The right and left legs alternately forward, the right and left hands alternately practice.
④ Collect: arms and legs back to the original position, gas sinking Dantian. Exhaustion in the dantian, tongue against the palate, gaze level.
This work needs to be done more than 10 times each time.
3. Power to break the Huashan
① Preparatory: feet together, the body upright, eyes looking straight ahead, arms naturally hanging down, chest and back, sinking shoulders and falling elbows.
② Inhalation: tongue against the palate, the abdomen slightly closed, lead to the internal qi from the perineum up to the dantian. At the same time, inhale through the nose, the internal qi rose to the danzhong, hold your breath for 20 seconds, lift the left knee, the size of the leg into 90 degrees, the two small arms up with the big arm into 90 degrees, the two palms wiped into a sword finger, palm upward next to the waist, about on the crotch.
③ Exhalation: the abdomen is slightly out of the drum, the gas from the mouth slowly exhaled. Internal qi from the danzhong point down to the dantian, a slight pause for a few seconds, and then through the perineum, tail Yan, the life gate will be in the great vertebrae, and then separated to the two sides of the shoulder wells, through the shoulder condyles, the curved pools, outside the off, outside the laogong up to the fingertips, at the same time, the left foot fell forward into a bow stance, the two arms rotated internally, the right arm stretched out towards the front, the four fingers intend to break through, drilling the big man mountain, the left palm fell in front of the chest. Protect the cell Dan ready to strike. The left and right styles are practiced alternately.
Collected: the left foot to the right foot together, two arms closed in the two thighs outside, naturally hanging down, tongue put flat.
4. Cat work
① Preparatory style as before.
② Inhalation: prone. Both hands index fingers on the ground, waist and legs should be straight, toes support the ground. Inhalation of the body gradually straighten up, the idea is to think of the fingertips of the people sucking the earth's gas, transported to the Dantian.
③ Exhale: Exhale from the dantian and then transport the gas to the fingertips.
This practice is gradually reduced to one finger over time. In the end, only the index finger can still do more than 10 minutes, then the finger power can be considerable.
Through the practice of the above steps, about a year or so can be used for pointing, finger penetration can be done to finger to enemy injury.
