Honors received by Liu Lianjun

Over the years, he has won the first place in the Cangzhou Wushu Competition many times.

In 1986, he won the first place in the seventh National Games of Hebei Province in a category of boxing.

1988 National Wushu Observation Conference, won the soft equipment (thirteen section whip) gold medal.

In 1990, he participated in the shooting of the movie "Cangzhou Stance".

In 1996, he was awarded the Special Excellence Prize in a competition organized by the Chinese Eight Extremes Fist Association, and after the competition, he was awarded the Special Contribution Prize by the General Assembly.

In 1997, the "Chinese Traditional Wushu Bajiquan Advanced Competition Routine", which was created and demonstrated, passed the final examination and appraisal by Zhang Shan, vice president of the National Wushu Academy, and the relevant experts, and has been compiled and written into a book, which has become a unified teaching material of the whole country. In March of the same year, it was compiled into the book "Chinese Folk Wushu Masters' Dictionary".

In 1998, he was employed as an intern instructor by Beijing Sports Institute.

In 1999, at the International Traditional Wushu and Jiu-Jitsu Competition held in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, the sparring event won the first place with an absolute advantage of 0.3 points higher than the second place. And in the closing ceremony on behalf of the Chinese team (only 3 people) attended the performance of the General Assembly.

At the end of 1999, she won the first place in sparring in the National Bajiquan Competition held in Changchun.

In October, 2002, he was appointed as a visiting professor at Chonnam National University of Science and Technology in Korea.

In March, 2003, Chinese Wushu Magazine gave a wonderful introduction to Liu Lianjun's Kirin Fist with illustrations.

In June 2004, he was invited to bring his son Liu Weichao to Switzerland to give a lecture, which coincided with the 77th anniversary of the founding of the city of Lausanne, and all the tickets were photocopied with Liu Lianjun's wushu movements, and the local radio stations and newspapers reported on Liu Lianjun's deeds, and he was hired by the Swiss School of Boxing as the chief instructor.

In October 2004, Liu Lianjun participated in the first World Traditional Wushu Festival on behalf of the Chinese team, and won the first place (gold medal) in the first category of Boxing and Soft Instruments with an absolute advantage.

In November 2004, he was awarded the medal of "Excellent Coach" by Cangzhou Sports Bureau.

In May, 2005, Taiwan Zhongtian TV station recorded his Bajiquan and sparring exercises and broadcasted them.

July 2005, he was appointed as the first ever visiting professor by the Hebei Sports Institute and was the first to lecture on traditional martial arts at the school.

July 2005, at the National Wushu Elite Competition held in Huainan Bei, Anhui Province, he was awarded the first place in four categories, namely, Bajiquan, Sparring, Meteor Hammer, and Gunnery, of which Bajiquan was the highest scoring category in the competition.

In September 2005, he was awarded the Mayor's Special Prize for his outstanding achievements, and became the first group of wushu athletes in Cangzhou to receive this award.

On June 26, 2007, Liu Lianjun and his coach Lin Tianhua went to Switzerland for a half-month lecture.

July 22, 2007, Switzerland sent coach Maxim to Pangu Wenwu School for three months of further study, and to Liu Lianjun to learn Bajiquan and techniques.

Over the past 30 years, Liu Lianjun has participated in countless domestic and international martial arts competitions of all kinds, and it is amazing that he has won the first place every time. Mr. Wu Lianzhi, the president of China Bajiquan Research Association and the seventh-generation master of Bajiquan, personally presented him with a plaque with the inscription, "Ever Victorious General"!
