In 1986, he won the first place in the seventh National Games of Hebei Province in a category of boxing.

Mr. Wu Lianzhi, the president of China Bajiquan Research Association and the seventh-generation master of Bajiquan, personally presented him with a plaque with the inscription, "Ever Victorious General"!
