Those who have been there say so.

*It's not just the sea here. The city has a lot of keywords, a lot of romance, a lot of melancholy, a lot of silence. And fresh beer, cherry blossoms, German architecture, northern men. The overwhelming blue, red tiles, green trees and slightly salty sea breeze make the people here and those who come here calm and relaxed.

*The streets here have an up and a down, and there's always a red roof exposed in the center of the road. In fact, as the road turns there, more of the landscape is hidden at the other end of such an unseen slope. Often, as I walk, I look around, and I am really overwhelmed. Those corner gables peeking out from behind walls, trees, and tall buildings make me look for them one by one

Realistic Strategies for Qingdao's Tourism Industry

Transportation: Air

Qingdao Liuting International Airport is 32 kilometers away from the city center, with a wide range of routes. It can travel to and from more than 30 cities in China, and has opened a number of international and regional passenger routes such as Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau. The ticket office of civil aviation is at No.29 Zhongshan Road (Hunan Intersection, now Trestle Bridge).

Reminder: If you come to Qingdao by train, do not take a taxi in the train station parking lot after getting off the train. Station cabs are generally negotiated (no meter), short distance refusal. If the map is cheap, you can take a taxi on the street outside the train station square.

Highway

Qingdao's road transportation is very developed. Up to now, Qingdao has built 7 highways, including Qingdao Ji, Jiaozhou Bay, Liu Xi, Shuangliu, Weilai, Qilai and Yinqing.

Qingdao Railway Station Square has Iveco buses to Weihai, Yantai and Penglai. It takes only three hours to Yantai and four hours to Weihai and Penglai. The road condition is excellent, take the highway. Go to Jinan and take the No. 5 tram to the long-distance bus station. There is a Qingji high speed train here, and it only takes 4.5 hours to Jinan.

Waterway Transportation

Qingdao has two international passenger routes that run year-round, departing for Incheon, South Korea at 16:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Every Tuesday and Friday at 16:00 p.m. to Shimonoseki, Japan.

Qingdao Port Passenger Terminal is located at No.6 Xinjiang Road.

Public ****cars

Because of the rolling terrain, Qingdao has very few bicycles and motorcycles, making buses the main mode of transportation in the city. Public transportation in Qingdao is easy and accessible in all directions, and no one sells tickets. The brand new buses are clean inside and out. 26, 201 and 202 buses run along the seashore, passing through many attractions such as Trestle Bridge and Badaguan. The starting point is the ferry or train station.

The most convenient and comfortable way to travel to Qingdao is to take an air-conditioned tourist line. The vehicles of the three tourist lines are all high-grade luxury air-conditioned tourist buses (28 Xiamen Golden Dragon). Equipped with professional tour guide service.

You can take the 304 bus to Laoshan (Taiqing Scenic Area), and you can walk all the way to the beach from the ferry and train station (Trestle Bridge) to Laoshan. Of course, you can also take a day trip to Laoshan. All hotels have agents, and most tours only go to Taiqing Scenic Area. If you want to go to Beijushui and Yangkou Scenic Spot, you can take a tour bus at Huaneng Plaza every morning from 7:00-10:30.

Taxi

Maybe foreign tourists think that Qingdao cabs like to beat around the bush. In fact, Qingdao's traffic is very unique. Many roads are one-way. It is common to see four lanes on one side of a road and only bus lanes on the other side. This is done to increase speed and ease traffic pressure, so sometimes it is necessary to take a detour where you can go directly. If foreign tourists know a little about it, it won't cause too many disputes.

Ferry

The ferry route between Qingdao's Old Town and Huangdao strengthens the connection between the two sides of Jiaozhou Bay. If you take the highway around Jiaozhou Bay, the distance between the two places is 84 kilometers, while the ferry only takes 20 minutes to half an hour, stopping on foggy days.

The traditional Qingdao feasts are characterized by "416" and "428". The order of serving requires that the food be cold before hot, salty before sweet. Every table must have fish, no sea cucumber is a big table. Eating seafood depends on the season. Spring and summer are the best seasons and will definitely make you never want to eat meat again. Of course, be careful. Many tourists just arrived in Qingdao, because they can not stand the temptation of seafood, eat too much. The result (as you can imagine).
