The King of Flowers-Rose
Rose is the fifth of the top ten famous flowers in China, and is called "the queen of flowers", also known as "moon red". It is a Rosaceae plant, which looks like a rose, and people often can't tell it apart. There are many varieties of Chinese rose, nearly ten thousand in the world, and more than 1000 in China. Deeply loved by Chinese people, 52 cities chose it as the city flower, which shows the status of Chinese rose in China.
Growing habits:
China is one of the origins of Chinese rose, and its requirements for climate and soil are not very high. Loose, fertile, organic-rich, slightly acidic and well-drained soil is the best. It likes a warm, sunny and ventilated environment. The optimum temperature is 15~26℃ in the daytime and 10~ 15℃ at night. It is special to go to sleep below 5℃.
Main varieties:
Rattan Rose (Uncle Walter, Spectrum, Cruise, Longsha Gem, Purple Jade Belt), Big Flower Perfume Rose (Kennedy, Tannick, Rhine Gold, Star, Blue Moon, Mr. Lincoln), Phoenix Flower Rose (Iceberg, Sun Flame, Xinghua Village, Fire King, Golden Mary).
Maintenance method:
1. Pot soil: it must be loose, breathable and well drained. Don't use porcelain pots. It is best to choose clay pots. Only by laying a good foundation for soil and pots can flowers grow well.
2. Moisture: Roses are not tolerant to waterlogging. Pay attention to water control, touch the soil with your hands to see if it is wet, or check the soil humidity with chopsticks. When the soil is dry, water it.
3. Lighting: Rose likes lighting. In addition to the summer sun exposure, other times can be fully illuminated.
4. Fertilization: In addition to winter, topdressing is needed in other seasons, and the amount of fertilization can be reduced in autumn.
5. Pruning: Chinese roses must be pruned regularly, so that they can grow better. In addition to pruning the sick branches, they also need to prune the branches that have blossomed.
6. Disease: Mancozeb has been kept at home, 1, once every two weeks. Can improve the resistance of plants and prevent fungal diseases. Common red spiders and scale insects can be wiped off directly with cotton swabs. Always observe the state of leaves. If you find a disease, deal with it in time.
