The origin and development of parental authority system in China.

In Ancient Society, Morgan divided the development of ancient human society and its basic components into clans, phratries, tribes and tribal alliances, and finally formed nations and countries. The patriarchal clan system originated from the patriarchal clan system in primitive society. The emergence and development of the ancient patriarchal clan system in China experienced four stages: the embryonic stage (Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties), the initial stage (Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period), the development stage (Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang Dynasties) and the perfection stage (Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties). Until the modern Kuomintang civil law still recognized the existence of parents. For example, article 1 123 of the civil law "relatives" stipulates: "My parents. People in the same family are all relatives except their parents. Housework is managed by parents. " Today, parents and families still have influence on some areas and families in today's society, especially on the vast rural areas. It can be seen that paternalism has a long-standing influence on human society.
