What are the stories of Sima Guang's diligent study at a young age?

Story 1:

When Sima Guang was a young boy, he was worried that he was not as good as others in memorizing poems and books in order to be ready to respond. When we were studying and discussing together, the other brothers already knew how to recite and went to play and rest; Sima Guang, however, studied hard alone, concentrating and working as hard as Dong Zhongshu and Confucius did when they were studying, until he was able to recite proficiently. Because of the much effort in reading, the harvest will be long, and the books he had read and recited will not be forgotten for the rest of his life. Sima Guang once said, "You can't read a book without memorizing it. When you are riding a horse and walking, and when you can't sleep in the middle of the night, you can gain much by chanting the articles you have read and thinking about their meanings!"

Story 2:

Sima Guang grew up witty and diligent. He was just twenty years old when he was admitted as a jinshi. He was a clean official, often use the time to read outside of official duties, and aspired to write a Tongzhi, as a reference for people. In order to grasp the time to read, he deliberately make a round wooden pillow, pillow is a wonderful sleep body as long as a flip, it will roll, people also woke up, you can continue to study the study, so called "police pillow". Whenever Sima Guang need to rest, will pillow "police pillow", so the results of learning, finally became a learned person.
