Historical evolution on February 2

Dragon is a magical creature, and ancient people in China and other East Asian regions thought it lived in the sea. It is the master of clouds and rain, and the master of weathering rain. It is often used to symbolize good luck. It comes from the worship of natural phenomena and is related to the understanding of stars in ancient astronomy and farming culture. In farming culture, "the dragon looks up" means the sun is shining and the rain is increasing.

As the position of the black dragon rises in the sky for seven nights, there will be more rain. When the black dragon rises completely in seven nights, that is, when the rainy season gradually increases. It is precisely because the position of the Black Dragon for seven nights corresponds to rainfall that people think that the Dragon is in charge of rainfall, which in turn determines the harvest of crops, and the harvest of crops determines people's living standards. Therefore, the dragon has become the most important "totem" in farming society. The purpose of ancient people's observation of celestial phenomena is to determine the time and thus provide services for agricultural production.
