The difference between Irish building carpentry and domestic carpentry

There are some differences between Irish architectural carpentry and domestic carpentry in work content, working methods and working environment.

1. From the work content, Irish building carpenters usually need to make carpentry in large-scale construction projects, such as the production and installation of doors and windows, floors, ceilings, cabinets and other woodworking products in houses, shops, hotels and offices. Domestic carpentry is mostly small-scale projects such as home decoration and furniture making, such as making furniture such as doors and windows, stairs, cabinets and beds, or interior decoration.

2. In terms of working methods, Irish building carpenters usually need to use advanced CNC machine tools and high-precision tools to make and process woodworking products, and at the same time, they need to measure and make them accurately according to architectural drawings. However, domestic carpentry relies more on manual production, using traditional woodworking tools and techniques, and the accuracy of architectural drawings is relatively low.

3. In terms of working environment, Irish construction carpenters need to work in different outdoor and indoor construction environments, face different weather and working conditions, and work with other construction workers. However, carpenters in China mostly work in indoor workshops or construction sites.
