Mao Ping Revolutionary Sites Group

Mao Ping is located in the southeast of Ninggang County16km, at the northern foot of Huang Yangjie, Jinggangshan. In the early days of the struggle, Jinggangshan was once the seat of the highest leading organ of the party, government and army on the Hunan-Jiangxi border and the command center of the revolutionary struggle. At the same time, logistics institutions such as the Red Army rear office, hospitals and garment factories are also located here, and the first and second congresses of the Hunan-Jiangxi border party are also held here. It is a place where the former revolutionary sites are relatively concentrated. There are mainly the former residence of Comrade Mao Zedong in Bajiaolou, the No.1 meeting place on the Hunan-Jiangxi border, the former residence of Comrade Chen Yi and the former site of the Red Fourth Army Soldiers' Committee, the former site of the Jinggangshan Front Committee and the Hunan-Jiangxi Border Special Committee (Red Army Hospital), the former site of Buyunshan Training Ground, the No.2 meeting place on the Hunan-Jiangxi border, the tomb of the Red Army martyrs, Xiangshan Temple and so on.
