Is nickel-based alloy a high temperature alloy?

Nickel-based alloy has high strength, certain oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance at the high temperature of 650 ~ 1000℃, and belongs to high temperature alloy.

GH90/GH4090(Nimonic90) superalloy

GH90 is an age-strengthened nickel-based wrought superalloy, which contains a lot of cobalt and various strengthening elements. The alloy has high tensile strength and creep resistance at 8 15 ~ 870℃, good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength and good formability and weldability under the repeated alternating action of cold and hot. Mainly supply hot rolled and cold drawn bars, cold rolled plates, strips and cold drawn materials. Turbine disks, blades, high-temperature fasteners, clamps, sealing rings and elastic elements for turbine engines.

GH4090 spring wire

GH90 chemical composition:

C (≤ 0.13) Cr (18.0 ~ 210) Ni (balance) Co (15.0 ~ 210) Al (/kloc-0).

Manganese (≤0.4) silicon (≤0.8) phosphorus (≤0.020) sulfur (≤0.0 15) silver (≤0.0005)

Lead, Pb (≤0.0020), Bi (≤0.000 1), B(≤0.020) Note: the wire rod is specified as (pb)≤0.00 1%.

Application scope of GH90 application field:

The alloy is used as high-temperature spring elements, high-temperature fasteners, combustion chamber snap rings, stop pins and other parts in engines. It is also used as turbine blades, turbine disks and other parts abroad.
