The custom of Dazu
Marry and receive gifts, ask names, Naji, receive gifts, invite parties, and greet relatives. Near the wedding, the bride should "sit in the song hall" (sing wedding songs) and cry for her parents, elders, relatives and friends accompanied by her aunt and girlfriend. Give a gift the day before marriage (the man gives the woman a gift). Before boarding the sedan chair, you should worship your ancestors first, then your parents and elders, then get on the sedan chair and be escorted to the man's home by the guests who take you home. Rich people also use the sedan chair umbrella to blow the shuttle bus. Accompanied by several boxes, two people carried a box and went straight ahead. The bride and groom bow down, first to heaven and earth, two pairs of ancestors, three pairs of parents, and then to husband and wife, then uncover the hijab and toast into the bridal chamber. The next day, the bride returned home for nine days (three more days). Where weddings are held, pregnant women and widows are forbidden to help, and the fifth and twenty-second days of the first month are also prohibited. After liberation, the past wedding ceremonies were abandoned, and free love, marriage and frugality were advocated. Women's federations, youth organizations and other departments held irregular group weddings on holidays (almost no one holds group weddings now). Since the 1980s, the wind of welcoming guests has revived, with dozens of guests, cars and cars wearing red flowers to marry the bride.
Funeral The people of this county have always advocated burial, "reburial", and the etiquette is diverse. In slightly wealthy families, coffins are prepared early in their lives, made of extremely thick cypress trees and painted with earth paint. When you are dying, you should shave your head and change clothes, and when you die, you should burn "gas money". After his death, he built a mourning hall and a Dojo, held a wake for his children and grandchildren, and dressed Dai Xiao. In front of the funeral home, someone wrote a yellow couplet: "No funeral, no visitors." When the guests came to the mourning hall, the filial family knelt to meet them, the relatives cried, and the dutiful son accompanied them. Before the funeral, friends and relatives gathered together to give a eulogy and "play with friends" (playing drums and singing Sichuan Opera). All relatives do not comb their hair, wash their faces, eat meat or mourn their relatives and friends. Condolences with relatives and friends in Xiao's family, vegetarian. Choose the place and time of the funeral, use the earth as the "Tao", the dutiful son carries the spirit tablet and raises the flag to "lead the way". Scatter "tolls" along the way. Relatives and friends attended the funeral. Stone tree monument in Fuxi tomb. After the funeral, a meat feast was held for relatives and friends. Three days later, I want to see the grave, burn it seven times and make it a hundred times. After liberation, cremation was advocated and funeral ceremonies were simplified. Funeral custom has been popular among the people since 1980s.
Birthdays over 10 years old are "college students" (all students), generally "primary school students" (idle students). Most students will learn to make wine, but only more than 20 students 10 can "make wine", and not everyone will treat them. Some young people or children will make wine when they are full. The elderly are over ten years old, and their children or close relatives and friends send shoes, hats, clothes, birthday noodles and candy. Shoujia returned the "Shouwan" to thank the relatives and friends who gave gifts. After liberation, the central government repeatedly advocated that birthdays should not be celebrated, but the people still gained the upper hand.
On the third day, you will have a "three dynasties" and hold a banquet. Full moon wine will also be served at the full moon. Maternal confinement, others avoid the door. Maternal women can't visit either.
festival
Old customs advocate Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), while traditional festivals such as Qingming Festival, Duanyang (Dragon Boat Festival), July 30th, Double Ninth Festival, etc. The biggest festival is China's New Year, followed by Duanyang and Mid-Autumn Festival, which are called "three major festivals".
In the twelfth lunar month, kill more pigs, buy new year's goods, make new clothes and collect dust. In the twelfth lunar month of Qing dynasty, the county officials sealed it and ignored the civil affairs. Businessmen turn their teeth and collect accounts at the end of the year. Send the kitchen god bodhisattva on the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month. Put up Spring Festival couplets on New Year's Eve, stick to the door gods, meet the kitchen gods, hang lanterns and have a reunion dinner. Food is abundant, and it is more than enough. In the evening, the whole family warms up around the stove, gossiping, and the elders give lucky money to the younger generation or young people. In the early morning of the first day of the first month, the children began to pay New Year greetings to their elders, who said a few auspicious words to the children. Eat glutinous rice balls on the first morning. Meet each other, help each other get rich, say auspicious words, and avoid ominous words such as death, illness, mildew and ghosts. On the first day, avoid sweeping the floor and taking out the garbage. The old people went up the mountain to collect firewood early in the morning, which shows that they have "brought money home". Since the first day of junior high school, people have been wearing official uniforms and holding the god of wealth (or picking firewood and holding a broom) to "send money"; In the morning, I will visit the grave and pay a New Year call to my dead ancestors. Play with lions, dragon lanterns, floats and lotus flowers to celebrate the New Year. Young people pay New Year greetings to their elders, and relatives and friends eat spring wine with each other. I am also used to gambling for fun. The annual festival ends on the 15th day of the first month. On that day, Lantern Festival will be put on and dragon lanterns will be burned. There is a custom of "stealing vegetables" at midnight snack. After stealing vegetables, the more fierce others scold, the better. Steal peas and vegetables from other people's homes and eat them before going to bed. Tomb-sweeping activities are also popular in Lantern Festival, such as looking at graves and lighting lamps. Tomb-Sweeping Day pays homage to his ancestors to sweep the grave, and hangs a green flag. People with all surnames will gather in the ancestral temple to pay homage to their ancestors and have dinner. On the fifth day of May, people row dragon boats, eat zongzi, hang wet calamus (Pujian) and wormwood, and spray realgar wine to ward off evil spirits and repel insects. On the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15th, we eat moon cakes and watch the moon until late at night.
Most of the customs of the Spring Festival have been preserved, but they have been abolished because of feudal superstition. Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival are still very popular. But there are fewer people playing with the lion dragon lantern.
Old habits and customs
In the past, it was very common to pray for God with big feet.
In the past, a "spring prayer meeting" was held during the rice planting season in rural areas. After transplanting, draw the symbol of "planting seedlings" and pray for good weather and pest control. After the autumn harvest, there will be an autumn newspaper meeting. When the weather is dry, there will be a war, or Huang Jinglong will March in Zhanchang Town, and the people will prepare clean water to water it, pray for rain, or carry a spiritual officer or a bodhisattva. In case of plague, we should also wipe out evil spirits and mention bodhisattva.
