What fertilizer is used for garlic planting?

First of all, for our farmers and friends who farm land, we all know that "a flower in a crop depends on fertilizer." Of course, the choice of garlic base fertilizer should be said that the farmyard manure made by ordinary people is the best, but it is influenced by many factors, especially for the 70.80 and 00 years we are farming now. Perhaps the retted farmyard manure has really become a thing of the past. Take our village for example! At present, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs and sheep are basically old people over 60 years old, that is, 6 to 7. In this case, it's really a luxury to increase the retted farmyard manure.

Secondly, we garlic farmers still need to use organic fertilizer as base fertilizer to grow garlic, and we can buy bagged organic fertilizer or biological fertilizer. Faced with such a situation, we must choose to buy it together with compound fertilizer, and it is best to go to a reputable formal agricultural store to buy it. One acre of land can buy 200 Jin of organic fertilizer or biological bacterial fertilizer. (The price of organic fertilizer here is around 80 yuan 100 kg per bag, and the price of biological bacterial fertilizer is relatively expensive between 120 ~ 160 yuan. It is recommended to buy organic fertilizer. )

The third point is the choice of compound fertilizer: garlic needs to absorb a lot of nutrients in the whole growth and development cycle, but because its root system is linear fibrous root, which is mainly distributed in the soil layer of 5 ~ 25 cm, it belongs to shallow-rooted plants, and its root system is underdeveloped and its fertilizer absorption ability is weak, so it is impossible to choose the "one-time bombardment" fertilization method as the base fertilizer for garlic. 100 ~150kg potassium sulfate compound fertilizer or garlic special compound fertilizer can be selected per mu. If the previous crop is peanuts, you can sprinkle about 50 kg of calcium superphosphate per mu.

Why is it not that when planting garlic, the more garlic on the base fertilizer, the higher the growth or yield of garlic? (1) According to the garlic yield of 2,600 ~ 3,200 kg per mu, the demand of garlic for fertilizers with three main contents of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is much higher than that of wheat. However, garlic needs to be watered at least 4 times and topdressing 3 times during the whole growth and development period. If the amount of base fertilizer is too much, it is also unfavorable for the growth of garlic seedlings, because we people often say that "too much fertilizer is easy to burn roots"! Moreover, it takes less than 50 days from the emergence of garlic to the winter. For garlic seedlings with developed roots, they can be safely spent in a sub-zero environment.

(2) Although the amount of base fertilizer for garlic can't be too much, we garlic farmers can apply fertilizer reasonably in the green, moss and swelling stages of garlic, which can completely increase the yield of garlic. As we say here, "You can't get fat at one breath".

When garlic turns green, 40 kilograms of urea or 80 kilograms of calcium ammonium nitrate can be applied with water per mu. It can provide sufficient nutrients and water for the vigorous growth of garlic after turning green, and also prevent garlic from yellow leaves and dry tips during the period of maternal withdrawal. It can also promote the differentiation of scale buds and flower buds.
