Baoding large water system construction project

Baoding City’s city-circling water system series projects focus on building an ecological city-circling water system that integrates clear water, smooth rivers, beautiful scenery, fitness, and leisure. The total investment in the project is 7.35 billion yuan, including Baoding City Large water system construction project (Huandi River Infrastructure and Ecological Environment Comprehensive Management Project) and Baoding Fuhe River Water System Comprehensive Management Project (Huanghuagou Ecological Facilities Comprehensive Improvement Project). Through comprehensive management and improvement of the ecological environment of Baoding's important flood control rivers - the Nanhuan Di River, Xihuan Di River, Huanghuagou and other rivers, the water quality of rivers and lakes in the Baoding Huancheng Water System Basin will be improved, ecological functions restored, and biodiversity maintained. It plays an important role and at the same time can promote the comprehensive management of the largest freshwater wetland ecosystem in the North China Plain - the upper reaches of Baiyangdian Basin with high standards.
