Automotive generator is the main power source of the car, and its function is to supply power to all electric devices (except starter motor) when the engine is in normal operation (above idling speed), and at the same time, charge the battery.

On the basis of the three-phase fixed winding of an ordinary alternator, increase the number of turns of the winding and lead to the terminal, adding a set of three-phase bridge rectifier. Low-speed output from the original winding and increased winding in series, while at higher speeds, only the original three-phase winding output.
