China industrial belt development problems [3]

The so-called industrial belt is a linear spatial regional complex of economic network based on geographical division, relying on traffic trunk lines, river banks and coastlines, taking central cities or places where advantageous resources are concentrated as growth poles, developing advantageous industries, gathering and integrating industries and various production factors. Because of its polarization effect and diffusion effect, it can effectively promote the unbalanced development of the overall economy. However, at present, the development of China industrial belt is facing a series of challenges, mainly in the following aspects: After years of development, China has now entered the middle stage of industrialization. However, compared with developed countries, China's industrial structure has two problems: weak high-tech industries and backward traditional industries. The overall industrial structure is unreasonable, which makes it difficult to establish and develop industrial belts. Compared with developed countries, there is still a huge gap in GNP, CDP and per capita GDP density in China, while low income and low consumption have caused insufficient social accumulation, insufficient investment motivation and underdeveloped productivity, which has led to a low economic level and restricted the formation and development of high-tech industries.

The rapid mechanical growth of urban population intensifies the pressure on urban infrastructure. According to the survey of the United Nations Population Division, by 2020, the urban population of China will account for 49% of the total population, which is 29% higher than 1950. The rapid growth of population machinery exceeds the ability of urban infrastructure to provide services, which reduces the development level and stability of the city and will inevitably bring resistance to the construction of industrial belts.

In addition, the environmental pollution is serious or the ecology is fragile in most areas of our country, and the residents' concept is slowly updated, which restricts the construction of industrial belts. Therefore, when establishing and developing industrial belt, we should fully consider the above constraints in reality and develop China's industrial belt according to local conditions.
