Boshan, the headquarters of Qingdao Jinjing Group, is the birthplace of china glass and the "Ceramic Capital of china glass" with a manufacturing tradition of 3,000 years. Since 1970s, a large number of glass cultural relics have been unearthed in China, including Han, Tang, Song and Ming dynasties. Especially in Linzi and Luoyang, glazed products from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period were unearthed. Management analysis shows that the mineral composition of unearthed cultural relics is consistent with Boshan. 1983, Boshan Street excavated a large workshop site in the late Song Dynasty and a large number of glass products. At the International Symposium on Ancient Glass held in 1983, experts recognized Boshan as the birthplace of china glass.
