Historical Evolution of Huguosi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Huguosi Chinese Medicine Hospital is the earliest public Chinese medicine medical institution in Beijing. As early as 1960s, as the teaching practice hospital of Beijing College of Chinese Medicine (now Beijing University of Chinese Medicine), it officially became the affiliated hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1994, was named as the national model hospital of Chinese medicine in 1996, passed the acceptance of the national teaching base in 1999, and was named as the advanced unit of the national health system in the same year. The hospital has been rated as an advanced unit of spiritual civilization construction in the capital and a civilized demonstration window unit in Xicheng District for five consecutive years. In 2002, it passed the quality management acceptance of "ISO 900 1:2000" by the National ISO Quality Certification Center. In 2005, under the guidance of Xicheng District Government, Huguosi Chinese Medicine Hospital, which is mainly engaged in TCM diagnosis and treatment, and Factory Bridge Hospital, which is famous for its "daughter-style service", joined forces to realize the successful integration of resources. In 2007, it was approved as the first acupuncture hospital in Beijing-"Beijing Acupuncture Hospital". In June, 2008, the orthopedics department of our hospital was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list. In 20 12 years, the hospital passed the evaluation and acceptance of "Grade III A Specialized Hospital" in state administration of traditional chinese medicine.
