Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, can you tell the difference?
So the question is, with so many types of martial arts, what is the difference between them?
In fact, Taekwondo, Karate and Judo are all oriental martial arts, and are passed from China, but each favors the practice and use of some techniques.
Taekwondo is a martial art of the Korean Peninsula, is the inheritance of China's northern leg, more than seventy percent is to attack with the leg, only a single straight punch is allowed (can not be continuous punches), the hand is mainly responsible for defense and blocking. The leg movements are beautiful and complicated, and require a high degree of stretching of the ligaments in the legs. However, Taekwondo's fatal flaw is its inadequacy in dealing with wrestling, because Taekwondo itself does not have a wrestling method, coupled with the fact that the leg method is inherently unstable, it is easy for the center of gravity to become unbalanced, so borrowed wrestling has become a natural enemy of Taekwondo.
Judo is a fighting art based on wrestling and ground techniques. You can't kick or punch your opponent, and it's basically the same as Chinese wrestling in terms of technique, just with different rules. In the past, judo also had joint techniques, using anti-joint techniques to subdue the opponent, but nowadays, due to the rules of the competition do not allow it, it has disappeared. The excellence lies in the joint techniques and wrestling, to deftly knock down the place; in terms of actual combat (single combat), the killing power of judo is still very large.
Karate used to be called Tang hand, is the meaning of Chinese martial arts, is China's southern school of Shaolin external boxing method passed on, fists and feet can be used, but more focus on boxing, its close to fight skills are better, in order to ultimately knock out the opponent as the goal. It is very practical, but karate head protection is a weak point, and the head is often vulnerable to heavy blows when fighting boxers.
Overall, Taekwondo is the least practical of these programs. In a real fight, taekwondo is useless as long as your opponent is able to get within a meter of your body.
So, if you want to practice a martial art for self-defense, you know what to learn?
PS: Coach Miss said yesterday, two weeks ago, we all passed the examination level, and once passed two levels! The girl is now an orange belt in karate!
