What are the construction steps of the mud tile project?

I learned the following from the Ask Me platform:

1, before the construction of mud tile project, do a good job in the waterproof layer construction of kitchen and bathroom. The waterproof layer is mostly cement mortar. When treating at the grass-roots level, cement slurry should be laid first, and then waterproof treatment should be started. The thickness of the waterproof layer is about 1.5 mm. The most important thing is that after the waterproof layer is finished, the water closing test must be done.

2. Insulation layer: Generally, insulation layer is divided into sloping roof layer and flat roof layer. Before bricklayer's construction, find a flat cake on the sloping roof layer, spread perlite on it, and the surface must be smooth. After all inspections are completed, steel wire mesh and steel dowel shall be bound. The construction scheme of flat roof is basically the same as that of sloping roof, except that flat roof does not need steel wire mesh.

3. Tile surface: Before bricklayer's construction, make full preparations. When selecting materials, we should carefully check whether the materials have quality problems and whether the tiles are incomplete, cracked and uneven. Because this has a great connection with the bricklayer's laying of tiles during construction, the jade wrench tries to avoid the quality problems of tiles. When laying tiles, the matching length of upper and lower tiles can only be at least 100 mm, and cement colored tiles can be paved with stone concrete. The paving method is from right to left and from bottom to top.

4, the laying of floor tiles: the laying of floor tiles is actually very particular and standardized. In order to avoid the discoloration of polished tiles, we must wax the polished tiles before laying them. When laying floor tiles, if there are missing corners, color problems and gaps, they must be removed. If the ground flatness deviation is large, first smooth the ground with mortar, and then lay the floor tiles. The thickness should be controlled at about 7- 10 mm, and should not exceed too much. Paved floor tiles must be protected with cardboard, and no work can be done on them for 36 hours.

5. Laying of wall tiles: The height between wall tiles and the ground should not exceed 0.5 mm, and the floor drain must be the lowest point of the room, otherwise it will have no effect. Floor tiles should have shading. If you paste it incorrectly, you can only remove it and paste it again. When finishing, the insufficient wall tiles should be stuck in an inconspicuous place.
