Indigenous Museum (MIP): The only indigenous museum in Prescott.
Native American Museum, formerly Smokey Museum of American Indian Art and Culture, located in Prescott, Arizona, has a collection of native American handicrafts. The stone building of the museum is listed in the national historical site list of the United States.

The Museum of Indigenous Peoples (MIP) was built in 1935 by Smoki with a sense of community, and the museum was named after its founding group. In 2020, the museum was renamed to better reflect its cultural resources and the local communities it serves. The Aboriginal Museum is a place dedicated to listening to and appreciating local voices!

The Indian Museum displays prehistoric, historical and contemporary Indian culture and art materials from the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. The Indian Museum has the largest collection of prehistoric pottery from local sources in this area, and it also attaches great importance to the life of contemporary Indians. The focus of the exhibition is to inspire the public and expand their understanding of the local culture in this area, rather than considering political boundaries.

At the same time, the Aboriginal Museum is an educational institution whose mission is to help people understand and respect the Aboriginal culture in southwest China. Both children and adults need education to understand and respect a culture so different from themselves. Every day, local culture is changing, developing and advancing its own traditions. The Native American Museum provides opportunities to participate in special activities, volunteer projects and other educational activities, and provides individuals in the community with deep contact with the museum, and in the process, they deeply understand the Native American culture in the southwest.
