How is ginger grown?
1. Planting time: Ginger can be planted by sowing from late April to early May in spring.
2. Selection of improved varieties: select excellent varieties of ginger, preferably 1-2 with strong buds, and divide the ginger pieces well.
3. Accelerating germination before sowing: dry ginger pieces, soak seeds in Bordeaux solution, and accelerate germination after taking them out.
4. Sowing in the soil: Tidy up the sand and plant the sprouted ginger in the soil.
5. Post-management: topdressing during the growth period, shading under strong light, loosening soil and weeding regularly.
Ginger is native to the edge of tropical evergreen rain forest, and has formed a habit of adapting to a slightly cloudy environment, and can also grow well in a slightly sprouting environment in spring and summer. Like warm and humid climate, not cold-resistant, afraid of humidity, afraid of direct sunlight. Avoid continuous cropping. Slope land and slightly shady plots should be selected for cultivation. The upper layer is deep, loose, fertile sandy soil with good drainage, which is suitable for heavy soil.
