What is the prototype of Fog City?

Fog has no prototype.

Fog City is an anti-war drama written by Zhao Dongling, directed by Lijia Huang and starring ZhangFeng yi, Laura, Wei Liu and others.

Based on the Japanese invasion of China after the July 7th Incident of 1937 and the relocation of the National Government from Nanjing to Chongqing, the play tells the story of Sichuan Army's heroic resistance to the enemy and the indomitable way of life of Chongqing people during the eight-year Anti-Japanese War.

Extended data:

Fog City abandons the traditional mode of war dramas in the past, reproduces history and inherits national spirit with its unique perspective, so that the anti-war dramas no longer simply describe war scenes or praise heroism blindly, but portray characters in a more three-dimensional and diversified way, showing the truest side of Sichuan national heroes.

Director Lijia Huang said frankly: The Fog City shows the most humane side of a hero, but unlike traditional heroes, Zhu Hao has his own personality and shortcomings, which breaks the stereotype of "zero shortcomings" of heroes and brings different visual and psychological impacts to the audience.
