How to partition a notebook with only one C drive?
Step 1. Right-click this computer, select Manage, and then select Disk Management in the list on the left side of the computer management window. In Windows 10, you can also right-click the start menu and directly select the "Disk Management" function.
Step two. In the partition list, right-click the section to be repartitioned, and then select Compress Volume. After the analysis, the available compression capacity will be given.
Step three. Enter the size of the capacity you want to mine.
Note that if it is a system disk, it should have at least 50GB of capacity. Click "Compress" after determining the capacity, and you will see an unpartitioned free space added to the partition list.
* Note here: Because Windows system is calculated according to 1024MB= 1GB, and hard disk manufacturers convert it according to 1000MB= 1GB, if you directly enter 100000MB, you will not get/kloc-0.
Step four. ? Create a simple volume
It can be subdivided into one or more partitions. Just right-click the space, select "New Simple Volume", and then press the prompt "Next".
Step five. ? Allocate capacity to other partitions
For unallocated space, you can also choose to allocate it to any existing partition, right-click the selected partition, select Expand Volume, and then follow the prompts.
