Wuxi Huishan New City Central Park Flower Festival opens on March 17th

The Central Park of Wuxi Huishan New City will hold a flower festival tour recently. The event is scheduled for March 17th. Members and staff members are free of charge, and regular members are 10 yuan per person.

Introduction of Flower Festival:

Flower Dynasty, commonly known as Flower God Festival, Flower God's Birthday, Flower God's Birthday, and Vegetable Picking Festival, is a traditional Han Chinese festival. It is popular in Northeast, North China, East China, Central and South China. It is held on the second day of the second month of the lunar calendar, and there are also flower festivals on February 12th and 15th. During the festival, people go to the countryside to enjoy flowers together, which is called "trekking". Girls cut colorful paper and paste it on flower branches, which is called "hongxing" (red viewing). There are also customs such as "installing lion flowers" and "releasing lanterns" to commemorate the birthdays of hundreds of flowers. Flower Festival has a long history, the Spring and Autumn Period ("Tao Zhu Gong Book") on the record. As for the "God of Flowers", it is said to refer to Nuwa, a female disciple of the Lady of Northern Wei. It is said that she was good at planting flowers and was honored as the "God of Flowers" by later generations, and the Flower Festival was attached as her festival.

1.8:30, the worshipers of the Flower God arrive at the venue to get ready.

2. 9:00, all event staff sign in.

3:30 p.m., the offering to the God of Flowers officially begins.
