What is the difference between traditional sketching and design sketching?

Design sketching and traditional painting sketching of the laws of perspective are derived from the observation of the entity, that is, the use of design principles, creative depiction of objects. In short, some of the observation and drawing methods of design sketching are very similar to traditional sketching, such as the overall and local observation methods, understanding the relationship between the subject and the object and other perceptual awareness.

Because design sketching (also known as structural sketching) is the foundation of the creative design profession, it focuses on the cultivation of observation skills, ways of thinking, and expressive ability, rather than the reproduction of objective reality.
