Application of data center

The main purpose of the data center is to run applications to process the data of enterprises and operating organizations. Such a system belongs to an organization and is developed within the organization or purchased from enterprise software vendors. Like general applications, there are ERP and CRM systems. The data center may only focus on the operating architecture or provide other services. These applications usually consist of multiple hosts, and each host runs a component. Usually such components are databases, file servers, application servers, middleware and other various things. Data centers are also often used for backup of non-working sites. Companies can order services provided by data centers. This is usually used in conjunction with backup tapes. Backup can put things local to the server on tape, but the place where the tape is stored is also vulnerable to fire and flood. Larger companies may send backups to the workplace. This can be done by the data center through feedback. Encrypted backups can be sent to another data center via the Internet and stored securely. For disaster recovery, various major hardware vendors have developed mobile device solutions that can be installed and run in a short time. Systems developed by Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, IBM and Hewlett-Packard can be used for this purpose.
